Our directors Paul Travis and John Keeley attended DocuWare's partner conference in Berlin last week, DocuWorld, during which there was a key announcement and a little boost for us as well.
The annual event invites all European-based DocuWare partners to join the hosts to celebrate successes, learn about current and upcoming innovations and, we admit, to have a good time! This year's event did not disappoint.
The big news coming out of the event was DocuWare's acquisition of natif.ai, developers of an AI document automation platform.
Natif.ai's technology will greatly enhance DocuWare's character recognition and data extraction capabilities and automatically classify documents - think of it as the next generation of Intelligent Indexing.
It was exciting to see DocuWare embrace AI and explore how it can bring benefits to bsuiness in the document management space. From what we saw, when this new technology becomes available to the end user it's going to be game changing.
We enjoyed a welcome speech from Regional Vice President of Sales (EMEA) Marcin Pichur, DocuWare President Max Ertl's "state of the business" address and various general sessions from people across the DocuWare business.
Breakout sessions delved a little deeper into the future of AI, finance (of course) and sales - all very useful information for DocuWare partners.
On a more personal note, we were delighted to be recognised as a Customer Service Champion by DocuWare, justifying the hard work we have put in over the last two years on providing our DocuWare customers with the highest levels of support. It really topped off the conference for us, as you can imagine!
We're already looking forward to DocuWorld 2025.
